The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

Shop Committee:
Some more sheets of insulation have been put up. Ran out of washers, more were ordered. Fan is in, but could not
combine the two due to amps. GTO is in paint room, Ben Manheim's PU is in the shop to pull motor; Ron Dickey is going
to label all the switches; Furnace had a "hiccup" and the nozzle had to be cleaned, all okay.
Cruise report:
Potluck had 13 people. Dee to get hold of Mike Cuffe regarding Rendezvous days.
Unfinished/Old business:
There will be copies of By-Laws available for everyone. The Printing Press in working on them.
Incentive committee meeting with applicants in a week. Applications are due April 7.
Marge had counselors survey interested kids, 15 responded; 7 said auto mech.; 7 auto body; 11 welding; 4 machining; 2
motorcycle, 5 diesel; 6 design; 3 large engine 1 electrical; 1 aviation maintenance. (Marge has exact breakdown of those
interested).
Chris said if anyone has auto body class ideas, get with him to use his shop.
Dennis said at least 6 people would be needed to supervise and mentor the group. If club wants to do it we can get
together, set a date when and get information out. Hands on is needed to get interested in actual work. Table concept for
a month and see what we can come up with. The workshop should be 2-4 hours and Mel Peterson is really good at this.
Beth is our new webmaster.
Town Pump has a family meeting to discuss giving us money to move the car from the drive-in and give scholarship
money. Art Pankey, Dennis Souther and Gary Cooper to be the follow-up committee.
Car show:
Val contacted Montana Exposure and Rebel T''z gave a price per shirt with Show info on the front and picture on back and
the set up fee. Get shirts in town.
CD on band that Dennis & Val know (Revelators) is available in the shop. Motion made, 2nd and carried to hire a band.
Security needs more meetings and needs to be a bit stronger, with usual people stationed and rovers relaying problems.
There is a Marine confidential channel that might be a good idea to check out. All we can do is pull problems over and
pull dots.
Membership:
Applicants Bob Wilson, Studebaker PU; Mark Decker, 56 Chevy Stepside and 67 GTO. Bob and Mark both approved.
Bob was sworn in by Dan Ackerman. (Mark will be at next meeting).
New business:
Highway cleanup will be in April on Thursday the 8th . Meet at Cedar Creek, time will be specified at April meeting on
Wednesday 7th.
Sponsor Committee:
50 boards have been ordered with 15 headers and when dash plaques arrive the committee will start gathering
sponsorships.
Jim E. gave a report on some of the work being done for the 50th anniversary calendar. Barb has computer program to
produce own calendars. Can be configured any way we want. Suggested the club purchase a printer//copier for club.
They will proceed with the plan.
Dan thought it worthwhile to enlighten the club on the new EPA situation regarding bringing engines over the border. Pat
was considering buying a motor, in Canada, for his new project. The border does not have a problem, but the EPA says
CAN'T DO IT. He went into detail on the situation. Anyone having questions, talk to Pat.
There were no announcements
